Deborah serves as a non-public arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc., (FINRA). FINRA is the largest independent regulator for all securities firms doing business in the United States. FINRA’s mission is to protect America’s investors by making sure the securities industry operates fairly and honestly. FINRA arbitrators—neutral, qualified individuals who are essential in maintaining a fair, impartial and efficient system of arbitration—serve as decision makers, weighing the facts of each case presented. Arbitrators hear all sides of the dispute as presented by the parties, study the evidence and then render a final and binding decision. Deborah brings these skill sets to her clients as an independent and ethical advisor.

Deborah is a respected national speaker and author, a financial literacy advocate, and lifelong volunteer. She can often be found teaching financial literacy courses, fundraising for genetic research, or promoting a women's leadership program. Deborah has been the president of a chamber of commerce, a recognized community leader, and political activist.

Prior to her career in financial services, Deborah performed as principal flutist in numerous symphony orchestras in the United States and Europe.

Deborah holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and AZ, CA, FL, OH and UT life insurance licenses. She is an Investment Advisor Representative and has earned the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS) designation through the College for Financial Planning.

Deborah is a passionate triathlete, knitter, and  golfer as well as a devoted wife to her husband Arthur, mother of two grown children and one energetic Yorkie.
